Some people get furniture for their living rooms and some people get play kitchens. Our living room is really pretty big. It needs a lot more furniture in it to make it look right but I’ve always known Eli would eventually take over and that time has come. We now have a play kitchen. How did we end up with a play kitchen you ask? While playing at Ava’s house Eli took a liking to her kitchen and I knew we needed one. Eli and I spend so much time in our kitchen together that it was only natural for him to want his own. Milan’s first reaction to my purchase was to say it’s a “girl toy” but gave in to the idea when he saw it wasn’t pink and Eli loved it. :)
Here is our new living room furniture.
Day 1: Just checking things out and getting acquainted with all the fun things to do.
Day 2: While Mama cooks dinner Eli thinks he needs to climb on the kitchen and throw all the food on the floor. Maybe giving him the step stool to reach the microwave wasn’t a bright idea after all! :)
Eli climbs on everything. It is sort of cute watching him take risks and then look for my reaction. At the same time it is frightening waiting for the day when his little adventures take us to the ER from a bad fall.
