My Mom and Dave came to visit last week. As usual the time flew by and we missed them the second they walked out the door. Eli tried really hard to say Grammy and instead of saying Pappy he was calling Dave “Patchy”. It was adorable! Grammy spoiled Eli with new toys and she spoiled us by bringing flowers and plants for the yard. Dave helped Milan with yard projects and we are forever thankful for the help!
Visits are bittersweet. We love having them here and yet it makes it that much harder when they leave. Not having our parents near is by far the most difficult part of living so far away. We are definitely looking forward to our trip home this summer.
